Happy Easter
25 of us met at Sharkey’s Beach for a potluck supper to celebrate Easter. The weather cooperated and by 5 PM it was sunny and warm. The food was delicious and the company wonderful.

Suncoast BBQ and Bluegrass Festival
On Saturday we attended the 5th Annual Suncoast BBQ and Bluegrass Festival. Sixty-two teams competed for prizes and championship status with connections to the Food Network. The rigs they used for cooking were phenomenal and we certainly saw some interesting sights. Dave tasted pulled pork from one competitor but we both agreed that it wasn’t as tasty as his.

April Beach Time
April is always beach time here in Venice. We have been to the beach for lots of visits by ourselves but also with an assortment of company who have spent time here with us. I never get tired of the walkway leading to the beach – no colours can beat the green of the trees, the white of the sand and the blue of the Gulf.
